GATE Official Virtual Scientific Calculator Simulator

Exact replica of the onscreen computer-based test calculator provided by IITs and TCS-iON during the GATE exam.

Crucial Rules for GATE Calculator Accuracy:

• Operator Precedence (No BODMAS support on some functions): In the official TCS iON calculator, unary functions (like sin, cos, sqrt) operate directly on the current displayed value. Press the number first, then press the function key!
• Degree vs. Radian: The calculator defaults to Degree (DEG) mode upon exam launch. Verify mode before computing trigonometric values!
• Avoid Intermediate Rounding: Keep full precision in memory registers (using M+ and MR) rather than manually re-typing rounded decimals to prevent NAT tolerance rejections.
